The Volcans d’Auvergne Regional Nature Park :
The Parc des Volcans is situated at the heart of Auvergne. This huge territory comprises outstanding landscapes, fauna and flora. But, it also owes its strong identity to the rural society which has preserved its know-how and culture. Conscious of the value and fragility of their environment, the inhabitants, along with Auvergne Regional Council, founded the Volcans d'Auvergne Regional Nature Park on 25 October 1977.
